Christopher Dexter Greenspan stood at the forefront of the Witch House movement and moved on after the extended devil’s hour came to a close. After a series of releases under the alias oOoOO on his label Nihjgt Feelings, he made moves to join forces with Islamiq Grrrls. The upcoming album »Faminine Mystique«, which will reach us in May 2018, borrows its (slightly altered) title from Betty Friedan's breakthrough work for the so-called second wave of feminism, and its dense atmospheres channel Bristol trip-hop, golden-era hip hop, and night-shadowy metal. Also thrown into the mix are vocals by Islamiq Grrrls, who exchanged a childhood between Muslim parents and West-German drabness for a life in Paris, and now in Berlin. Her solo project brings the music of Bosnia together with noisy R'n'B to create lullabies for an alienated generation. She continues these explorations in her collaboration with oOoOO, at once hungry for more and ever-mysterious.
