In an age in which the loudest voice is the one that gets heard, the protest song has seen a resurgence. Whether it be to advocate for a sincere cause or to co-opt the popularity of a movement for personal gain, never before have artists had such an incentive to state their position. For Pop-Kultur, Kat Frankie and her band will present a collage of sounds that challenge the status quo, a collection of music from various places and numerous eras but altogether ›anti-›. Featuring special guests and a musical span as wide as its subject matter: from heartbreaking and earnest to raging and danceable. We are indignant!
