Daniela Lunelli describes the music she releases under the moniker Munsha as »sound dialogues«. So far, so clear… only: who’s actually talking, and with whom? Could it be a dialogue between her cello and her penchant for dense sound design? Or between her punk past and her obsession with all things avant-garde? Or between her training as an opera singer and her effects pedals? Or between her Italian descent and her adopted Berlin? Or maybe just between her and her music? Or between her and herself? Or perhaps between her and us. What Lunelli still manages in addition to composing for film and television, sound installations, dance performances, and theatre stages is also displayed via her two previously released albums. »Who Will Play After?« And »2 Gates« were both distributed through the label Perfect Entropy Productions and both engaged the excited whispers of Lunelli's multifaceted interests in—yes, precisely: a coherent dialogue.
