The Music Pool community evening will provide insights into the music scenes in Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines – from musical styles to organizational aspects. Potential ways of collaboration for Berlin based artists with the music scenes in Southeast Asia will also be a topic. The evening is organized on the occasion of a group of female artists and cultural producers from the Southeast Asian region visiting Berlin and the Pop-Kultur festival, organized by Goethe Institute in cooperation with Missy Magazine. Music Pool Berlin is the central place to go for musicians and people working in the music business, living and working in Berlin. The consultations and training offered by expert professionals and key players in the music scene will supply musicians with information and experience, professional development, as well as network opportunities direct from within the scene. The goal is to help each musician with tools and information to be better equipped to make a living in the current music business.
