The more gaga the life, the more dada the art. With »Rausch Royal«, the band 21 Downbeat teams up with the actors of the RambaZamba-Theater, the performer Leo Solter, the bassist Rabea Erradi and the Ja, Panik singer Andreas Spechtl to present a simultanistic poem that celebrates the synchronicity of all things. Rather than buckling under the weight of the present, »Rausch Royal« throws out its own mix of beats, vocal snippets, and confetti. Solter and Spechtl will talk with RambaZamba director Jacob Höhne and ensemble member Hieu Pham about the creation and realisation of the piece, which is based on texts by leading Dadaists Hugo Ball and Emmy Hennings and references the Vienna group that was home to Konrad Beyer and HC Artmann. The more dada the art, then, the more gaga the discourse? No way – some rascals can talk serious business, and these ones will do so moderated by Claudius Nießen from Detektor.FM.
