The acronym YGG used to stand for »Young Grime Gods«—now it stands for »You Get Grime«. Whether that’s due to age-related mellowing that or to late-onset modesty is unclear—either way, though, the three London MCs keep their promises. And they’ve been doing so for a while: way back in their Camden school days, Saint P and PK exchanged bars together, dropped cyphers, and, after some back and forth, found Lyrical Strally, the third member of their league, in the close vicinity. Their breakthrough in the grime community came at the latest by 2015 on the city’s internet radio stations, with singles like »Okay« and »Do not Talk Like That«. Their battle plan came in the form of a debut EP title in 2017: »World Domination«. In other words, the trio hasn’t gotten any more modest, nor have they mellowed. As of 2018, they also have a record and management contract with Flowdan’s SpentShell imprint in the bag.
